Gaëlle Vallée-Tourangeau Gives Invited Seminar at the University of Leeds Centre for Decision Research

Gaëlle Vallée-Tourangeau delivered an invited seminar, “Can a video move you to make a prosocial decision?”, to the Centre for Decision Research at Leeds University Business School on 4 March 2026.

The talk examined whether a professionally produced narrative film is a more effective format than an informational video with text overlay at creating an emotional connection and encouraging viewers to reach out to others, and whether the strength of viewers’ emotional reactions predicts their subsequent prosocial decisions.

Full event details are on the Centre for Decision Research events page.
